Link to us policies, text links and banner links

Policies

Text links are being rated more highly than banner links by search engines. Especially Google. This may be because people don't set banner links up right or some other reason. In any case we are open to a reciprocal link exchange with other similar fly fishing or fly rod sites or pages.

Text links placed on similar pages of your site are preferred. For example, If you have a page or pages about fly rods, you place a link or links on your fly rod pages.

Notify us where you placed the link using our contact form. When we verify you have placed the link(s), we will place a text or banner link on our fly rod page of a similar nature. We can use our description of your site or yours. We are pretty good at descriptions. See some we have written at

We limit our links on any one page to 25 before starting a new page. Too many links on a page makes that page start to look like a link farm. (An SE no - no)

New links are started at the top of the page and moved down over time. This give visitors a chance to easily see your site link. A preferred permanent link at the top of your link page earns you the same here.
