I am planning a trip in July to fish with my 18ft CC out of Destin about 9 miles out for snapper. I've only had it on the big lakes in Texas. I need to purchase 2 rods and reels that are keepers, not junk. I also don't need cadillacs (big buck stuff). The Saltist reels seem reasonable so I was thinking about picking up a couple of these. What would be a good rod combination to go along with it? This may sound open ended but I’m new to saltwater fishing.
